Our First Pop-Up Bag Giveaway
We are excited to invite you to help us with our first ever pop-up bag giveaway! We need help getting ready for the event (putting bags together Jan 17 and 24) as well as with the event itself, Jan 30.
Here’s how it will work: Residents will receive a link to a form for them to fill out between January 3-15. We will create bags for each family January 17 and 24. The day of the event the families will come to the parking lot where we will be set up with bags in the back of several vehicles ready to be given to the families who completed the forms.
Get Involved! Two ways: First, we’re going to need a lot of help to get the bags put together. Because it is important we get the right items in the right bags, we ask that only adults volunteer for this.
Dates are as follows: Saturday, January 17 from 9:30am-12:30pm or 1:30-4:30pm and Saturday, January 24 from 9:30am-12:30pm or 1:30-4:30pm. If you can’t stay for the entire shift that’s ok!
2) Help us give out the bags on Friday, January 30.
If you have a large vehicle, like a minivan or SUV with a good bit of trunk space we can use for bags, please meet us a Canton Rd Self Storage at 1:00 on January 30 to load up the bags. You will then drive to Legacy at West Cobb Apartments (2665 Favor Rd SW, Marietta). The event will be 3:00-5:00.
If you are not able to put bags in your vehicle, but would still like to help with handing out bags, please plan to arrive no later than 2:30 to Legacy at West Cobb Apartments. The event will take place in the parking lot of the leasing office.
